The student will learn how to handle coomputer software, and take care of the compter. The learner will also be able to classify these variouis types of progams Materials: Computers, various learning progams (Matty math house, Thinking Things, Math Blaster, etc.) (These progams should load themselves once placed in the computer.) STEPS 1. Explain to the class, that they are going to learn how to load and close a program properly 2. The Teacher will demonstrate how to load a prgram (CD) on a computer. once the student is in the progam, and wants to change the CD. what should he/she do? (answer: get out of the program once they have the right answer, they then take the CD to the CD store, and give it to the store keeper. The store keeper will check the moniot of the customer, to make sure that the studen have gotten back to the desktop properly. 3. This procedure will continue throughout the period. Once they have tried it a few time, and have gotten the hang of it, you can choose students to be the store keeper. I find that students love to have power over something. Evaluation: walk around and make sure they are in the progam properly, and that the exit it properly
